Found some of my old Jurassic Park stuff and decided to make a stop
motion. Yes, T Rex would win against Spinosaurus in real life, so you can blame Spielburg for messing up big time in Jurassic Park 3. I know it’s been debated a lot, but I thought I’d make a contribution.
NOTE: I am aware that the T-Rex figure is oversized compared to the Spinosaurus, but the fact remains that T-Rex would always beat Spino.
Dinosaur Facts:
Tyrannosaurus Rex was the most powerful and deadly land predator ever to walk the Earth. It has the most powerful bite force of any animal in history, and its massive amount of kills earned its title as Tyrant Lizard King. T-Rex was a hunter, and was up to any challenge when it came to food. This dinosaur could even take down prey bigger than itself (like a long-necked dinosaur like Brachiosaurus or Apatosaurus.)

Spinosaurus Aegyptus
Spinosaurus was an african dinosaur that only got respect for its size. Like its relative Baryonyx, Spinosaurus was a fish-eater, and wasn’t meant to kill large prey. While its arms are longer than T-Rex’s, he could only lift them so high. Attempting to bite into the hide of a large dinosaur would cause its teeth to break. Its spine is another weakness. If Spinosaurus was knocked over onto its back, the spine would break, causing the Spinosaurus to die.

Ryan and Dad go back in time to find facts about the Tyrannosaurus Rex!

http://amzn.to/ehR3PR Your child will be thrilled with Playskool Kota and Pals Monty T-Rex–especially when he roars at the friendly dinosaur and gets a louder roar in return. An interactive, animated dinosaur, Monty T-Rex stomps, roars, sniffs and sneezes, plays music, and even burps after being fed a big meal. Designed for ages three and up, this fun-loving dinosaur is ideal for both younger and older children since it is so versatile in its interactive, role-playing abilities.
Life-like, With Built-in Touch and Sound Sensors
Monty T-Rex moves and communicates through his six built-in touch and sound sensors that are located on his face, back, and tail. Monty can walk and stomp; move his head, tail, and arms. He even dances along to any of his three built-in “dino rockin’” songs. To get Monty going, you merely have to touch his back, and if you forget to turn him off, he will go into sleep mode after 60-90 seconds.
Monty T-Rex is made of cloth and durable plastic, but as a fair warning he should always be used on a flat surface since he could potentially walk or stomp his way off a table and hurt himself.

Interactive Dinosaur That Looks and Sounds Real
This animated T-Rex is great for all ages because your child can fit Monty’s interactions to their own curiosities and developmental level. He does such a large variety of sounds and actions, it’s easy to understand why children could be entertained for long periods of time.
Monty can also help your child learn a bit more about their new prehistoric friend, thanks to the discovery sheet that is included in the box. The discovery sheet offers a a few interesting facts about Monty, opening the doors to possible future research into dinosaurs.
What’s in the Box
Monty T-Rex, four “C” batteries, and a discovery sheet.

This is the worst documentary I’ve ever seen in my life. It came in a three tape set along with “Dinosaurs: Fun, Fact, and Fantasy” and another film that I have lost at some point over the years. This one is geared toward small children and was made by something called “The Heart Cener” (I can only assume they misspelled “Center” in the credits).
It’s not even about Tyrannosaurus Rex, really, which makes even the title insulting. It’s filled with terrible jokes, pointless clips, a boring script, and a narrator with a miserable voice (my narrating voice is far superior to this dude).

Dig, Build and Paint! — At the BSW Excavation Station! This week we are digging into fun and taking you on a prehistoric dinosaur adventure, featuring our T.Rex Dig Site. Buy it here: http://www.bswtoy.com/product_list.php?b=16
This fun, archaeology product comes with a Digstone Brick (sand block) that replicates a realistic digging experience, steel digging tools, excavation safety glasses, a paleontologist field guide (filled with instructions and fun facts), a paintbrush and three colors of paint (to “age” your dinosaur bones).
Use the real steel tools to dig away at the sand and reveal hidden dinosaur bones, which can then be assembled to form a complete 11″ long T.Rex skeleton (by easily snapping the pieces together). Hand paint your dinosaur with the included paints and brush to create that aged “fossil” look!

The popular scientific theory is that the Tyrannosaurus, while large and fearsome, was a scavenger and not a predator. This means that it probably did very little running, and when it did, it did not entirely leave the ground. It most likely achieved a “fast” walking pace.
The Speed of an animal is often determined by the scale difference between the femur and the lower leg bones. Animals with shorter femurs tend to be faster while those with longer more “human-like” leg bones are on the slow side. The T-Rex had a very large femur, nearly equal in length to it’s lower leg bone. It’s top speed was most likely around 17.9 mph- that’s fast enough to outrun our fastest sprinters.
